The Finnish Lighthouse Society offered also to local inhabitants a chance to familiarize with lighthouses through pictures and movies at Alandica, where the Nordic Lighthouse conference also took place at the same time.

There were old nautical charts with lighthouse drawings from the end of 1800 century and beginning of 1900 century and postcards and stamps with lighthouse figures from different times. Constellations of pictures and photos, slide presentations and stories gave a diversified view about lighthouse buildings, life and working conditions in lighthouse environment. Also movies from other Nordic countries with lighthouse theme were shown as non-stop presentations.
