The weather forecast isn't always reliable, you know, at least in this kind of places where the weather always changes. Today was a happy surprise since the weather came to be a way better than forecasted. In the sun a coat was no longer needed. Heini carried the last door outside and Tiina went even to swim.

In the afternoon a sailboat Mona Lisa II arrived bringing an extremely nice family for a visit. They phoned us beforehand, and as soon as the boat was seen getting closer to the buoy Heini rowed there with our little red pioneer and brought them to the island. Tiina did the guiding with a routine. Thanks to our visitors for coming here and supporting our work!

The work continued as before. Mika was filling the holes in the wall of the dormitory and Heini was cleaning the last door out of the paint with Tiinas help.

When the work was done Heini wanted to learn how to use the rubber boat with the motor since the sea was so still at the moment. Mika taught her and we had a nice tour around the island. Although it was supposed to be a seal safari, only one seal appeared.

Later, when we were enjoying a cup of tea and writing a diary in the kitchen we saw a boat approaching us very fast. It drove around the island and stopped in the north harbour. It was our former boat driver Bengt Granberg who came for a visit with his German guest Frank.
