The wind is back. It is blowing from the south again, so not even the front yard is safe from the wind. The white-headed waves told as not to expect any visitors today. It has been sunny all day although some dark clouds were seen, but in the end it doesn't rain here as much as you might think. Local people have told us that this spring has been more windy than normally and we can assure you that it is true.
The work continued as in previous days. Mika was still plastering the holes in the wall of the dormitory. Tiina was working on the same room but this time she was removing old loose plaster from another wall.
Heini was trying to work outside with the door despite the hard wind. Some profiles needed to be removed and then replaced since they were already half loose and couldn't be just pushed back because there was so much old putty in between the profile and the mirror of the door.
As the tradition goes, we made crepes in the evening to celebrate our last night as a lighthouse keepers. Tomorrow the new crew will arrive so the Sunday will be used for cleaning all the mess away.
